Halloween 2020

Back in October, I was asked to create a couple set pieces for a Beetlejuice themed Halloween party. I decided to make the main gravestone and the fireplace from the wedding scene. The whole project took about a week to complete. I created the gravestone out of Papier-mâché and the fireplace out of cardboard. Here are some project photos. Enjoy!

Here are a couple shots making the Fireplace. We just used leftover cardboard and spray paint.

A day before the party, I decided that I had just enough time to make a sandworm head. It ended up taking almost 17 hours, but it was worth it. I didn’t have time to Papier-mâché it, so I just painted over the tape. I sculpted the teeth out of Sculpey clay then baked and painted them.
